Fridays' News

I have been busy as a bee finishing the wedding quilt.

and I did accomplish that task, only thing left to do is stitch the binding down.
Then into a beautiful gift bag and it is ready for delivery on the big day.

My next project is a quilt for my future daughter-in-laws' son.
He is only three, loves hockey, so I made the quilt with this in mind.
It was fun to make using the bright primary colors.

They will not be visiting until after Christmas,
so I have a few weeks to get it finished.

Have a great weekend.
Take care and thanks for stopping in for a visit!

I love both these quilts. I haven't seen either type of pinwheel before. I'm sure both quilts will be much appreciated.

Beautiful quilts. I love quilting but don't have anyone to give them to right now and I have more than enough for my house. It's such a calming activity (unless your machine breaks.)

Hi Jen
You have one lucky family to receive such beautiful handmade quilts. I only wish I still had the one my grandmother made me when I was little but repeated washings in a ringer washer shortened its life.
Glad you're getting these projects all finished up in time for Christmas.

Jen, these are BOTH just beautiful!!
I love the rich, creamy colors of the first but the spinning pinwheels/blades of the second remind me of Ninja weapons...perfect for a little boy!

I hope your Dad is recovering nicely.
