We had a Memorial Service for my Dad on Saturday.
With Christmas only a week away,
my brothers and I decided to use that theme for the flowers.

We have had so much snow,
turning the garden into a magical place,
with snow sparkling in the sun
or christmas lights twinkling under the snow in the darkness.

We don't have any snow here yet which is just fine with me. The longer it holds off, the better for my hubby and my son because they both have to work in it!

I am so sorry to hear about your father. What a sad Christmas it will be without him. My father-in-law died in the last couple of weeks also, so I understand.

It's never easy ..my aunt passed away over the weekend..funeral is tomorrow...hard to celebrate....and we have no snow..suppose to get some today; then change to lots of rain for the next few days....so tired of the rain...would be nice to have a little snow for Christmas..just a nice little blanket of white...keep your fingers crossed....lol

Sorry about the loss of your dad. This mosaic is a sweet collection of photos as you remember him. The red, white and greenery looks so nice!
Yesterday I was at a funeral with my mom for someone who was her friend for 80+ years. Last night she called to tell me her sister passed away. She is sad. My mom is one of 11 children. All seven brothers have died and now the first of the 4 sisters.
