Mosaic Monday - Trip to a Greenhouse

On Tuesday a girlfriend and I went to Toronto to visit Allen Gardens.
We wondered around soaking up the tropical atmosphere in the greenhouses,
while taking pictures.

I am joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.

Thank you for stopping in for a visit.
Have a wonderful week!!!

I see that the gardens have been calling to you poor color starved folks in Toronto! What fun!!

I love that soft pink anthurium, I hardly see this color in our green house.

It must have been a beautiful place to visit!

This is just the kind of winter expedition a gardener needs to make an ordinary winter day extra special. Lovely mosaic!

I'm sure the warmth and beauty of the inside was in contrast to the winter outdoors in Toronto! Lovely images. HAve a good week.

AH! And having just visited another blog with photos from Allan Gardens, I can guess who you went with. :)) I think its interesting that your mosaic has so much pink in it and hers has reds and yellows.

Lovely! Don't you love visiting the local greenhouses? Especially during winter, I find it quite cheerful to brighten a winter day with all the greenery and blossoms.

Great mosaic! I can almost amell and feel that wonderful conservatory atmosphere. Now that I think of it, I haven't been in one for ages -- maybe there aren't any in Florida since the whole place is kind of like a great big greenhouse -- except not so well kept up ;>)

These are lovely photos of your greenhouse trip. Have you ever thought of owning a greenhouse? Hobby greenhouses are simple to set up and are not as expensive as you may think. I know Greenhouse Megastore has some great greenhouses for sale online.
