We enjoyed three different teas; Creamy Earl Grey, Darjeeling and Barry's Irish Tea along with a large selection of sandwiches; scones with devonshire cream, lemon curd and jams; rosy meringues with vanilla bean whipped cream; millefeuille with orange curd and fresh raspberries and raspberry melting moments. After 3 hours of drinking tea and sampling all the goodies I waddled home.
I am joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.
Be sure to stop in for a visit.
Enjoy the week and
thank you for coming by.

It all looks and sounds so delicious! Three hours of sampling ... sounds like heaven to me! :D :D :D
An afternoon tea party sounds delightful!
Sounds like a lovely time. Sounds like some delicious recipes were made in the class.
Moira's cooking is so delicious. I am so stuffed that my tummy hurts. The Rosy Meringues with Rhubarb sauce were to die for. V
It's been too, too long since I went to a friend's tea party. She did a similar tasting of different teas and wonderful sweets. It was the first time for many of us. I'd only had pretend tea parties until that one.
Wondering what the raspberry melting moments is! It looks like a lot of fun and very delicious!
Sounds like you two had a great time Jen! I can't wait until Moira's next tea that I can attend. Talk about a small world, she's good friends with our daughter's sister-in-law as they all grew up in Harrow.

What a lovely day!
Raspberry Melting Moments are shortbread tarts with raspberry jam in the centres. They melt in your mouth.
How lovely! I always enjoy afternoon tea and lately, my husband has been working at home and enjoying tea with me...even 30 some odd years into a marriage afternoon tea is something different for us.
That sounds like so much fun! I was actually thinking of having a little tea for a few of my neighbors and wondering what I should serve! You've given me some great ideas...and a lovely mosaic, too! ♥
Oh man that was all beautiful. All I can have is Angel Food Cake and maybe some strawberries, not bad. Love the names of the teas. Would like to try the Barry's Irish Tea.

Sounds like a fun way to spend the day. I love the teapot! Thank you for swinging through my blog. There is nothing better than sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee or lemonade. You make the best mosaics! Thank you for the lovely photos. P.S. Love the phrase waddled home.

I love afternoon tea, we always stop for a cuppa & a piece of cake around 4.00pm every day here at the Presbytere.
Your Afternoon Tea Party sounds just up my street!
Hehe! You would be the LAST person I would suspect of waddling home, you with a very girlish figure. The food looks yummy and you were smart to take your camera. :)
Oo I LOVE to have tea like this! All the little sweets and finger sandwiches too! That cream is to die for! :-)
Wow, it can be my favorite pastime! ;)
