Pink Saturday - Urns

I hope everyone had a great week! I was very busy this week, it is only two weeks today to my son's wedding. Time is flying by and there is not enough hours in a day to complete everything. The colours for the wedding are black, white with pink as the accent.

The wedding is outdoors, keep your fingers crossed for a nice day, at a local golf course. It is a beautiful parklike setting with a gazebo. In early spring I planted two black urns with pink flowers to use beside the gazebo.

Here they are just outside my front door. Every time there is a thunderstorm in the forecast I must put them in the garage. No holes in the flowers!

A close up of a pretty pink petunia,

and a pink and white geranium.

Beverly at How Sweet the Sound is the host of Pink Saturday,
link to her blog and visit all the lovely pink entries.

Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful weekend!

The urns are stunning. How do you keep bugs off of them? They will be beautiful and so will the wedding.

Fingers crossed for good weather on the 23rd! We're having 50 to a barbecue here on Tuesday and then 30 to dinner on Saturday - I think we're tempting fate by looking for two good evenings in one week!
The urns are gorgeous!

Beautiful flowers! Are they in the spot where you had the big tree and it was shading everything too much? It looks like they are getting beautiful sun now. :-)

Oh gosh, I know just how excited you are. When my son was married, I was a mixture of nervousness and excitement. It was all such a joy. I pray you have the most gorgeous day ever. Your flowers for the wedding are incredibly beautiful. ♥

I wish I could have pulled my whole garden indoors yesterday. We got hammered! Wind, rain and hail; .5 inches of rain in .5 hour. I have to replant the lettuce :( and possibly the basil but I think the tomatoes will hopefully pull out of it. Sigh. Monsoonal flow is what they call it around here: violent weather.

Very pretty flowers. Trust all goes well for the outdoor wedding. One thing is sure, you could not have one outdoors here.

Hi Jen
The urns look good and will enhance the gazebo nicely. I really like the colours in the geranium.
The day will be over before you know it!

You were really thinking ahead. The Urns are lovely. I'll wish for a good day. When my daughter was married outdoors in Virginia, a thunderstorm rolled up and the ceremony had to be completed inside. But then the sun came out and the reception moved back outdoors.
