Fall officially arrives this Friday and we had our first frost last night,
the roofs were all white this morning.
My garden is just starting to show its' fall colours of golds, reds, oranges and brown
but this rose is having one last show.
I have been looking for a subject that will look good as a black and white, vintage or sepia photo...
I think this rose has great potential.

Your last rose does indeed make a brilliant subject for black and white and sepia photos. As Fall begins for you, Spring has begun here. It's not my favourite time of year, as you would have gleaned from a few of my last blog posts, and the place is not looking that good. I'll enjoy seeing your Autumn colours in the coming weeks.

Beautiful rose... beautiful pictures. We have not yet had any frost over in southern Quebec yet, but I was blown away this weekend when I got to my country cottage and saw that my little rose bush is blooming again! They are just lovely.

Lovely mosaic. Despite a sudden and dramatic cold spell this week, our rose bushes are still full of buds and blossoms. Last year they bloomed until early December.

Wonderful comparisons - lovely last rose. I picked a small bouquet of roses last night. We are not having frost but the rains have come and the roses spoil easily when wet.
Frost already. Oh I hate to see summer end. LOL!
