Photo Art Friday

Bonnie's challenge/prompt this week was to have your art contain 'bohek'. The coneflowers are not flowering in my garden yet, way to early, the iris are just about finished and the peonies have not started. So this picture was taken last summer.

In one of my photography classes I can remember the teacher telling us
the background is just as important as the subject.
I softened the background on this photo until it complimented the coneflower.

I am joining Bonnie at Pixel Dust Photo Art.
Thank you for stopping in and I hope you have a great weekend.

Beautiful! The soft, blurry, bokehed background just makes the flower pop. Thank you for sharing this image with Photo Art Friday Jen.

It is a perfect compliment, I love that there is a little hint of purple in the background that plays off the just developing purple in the flower petals. It's just lovely!

The purples and yellows and pink and soft light green are great contrasting colors. Very pretty. I like the soft background and looking at the flower from a slightly different angle. Happy Friday!

A beautiful "bokeh" success. It is the joy of being a photographer today- you can go into last years folders and find so many images just waiting.

Hopping over from Pixel Dust Photo Art Fridays- nice to meet you!
