Photo Art Friday

Fencing was the theme for the Virtual Art Gallery
at Pixel Dust Art.
When I see a fence travelling off into the distance I am intrigued, where does it go,
how long has it been there, what stories can it tell.

This is a fence I found while travelling around Scotland last summer.
Image the stories this Scottish fence could tell if it were centuries old.
I edited the photo with Nik and then added Bonnie's Artist Texture.
Do tell, what is your story stone fence?
Linking with Bonnie for

I have been tardy visiting this week as it has been so busy here
but I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

I love the texture that you used on the stone wall--the story that it tells, faded but still there in distant memories. I really like the photos in the banner. Have a good week end.

Really think this stone fence is gorgeous. I remember when my husband and i were in wales, there were miles of these. Think it must be a very rocky place. This is gorgeous though, and your processing adds to its mystery. How is that new baby doing?

Love the colors and the texture. I would like to know what that wall would tell us too. Valerie

A stone fence has so much character, doesn't it? An old one would surely have some secrets.

Congrats on your first kid-ling, Jen. He is a beauty!! Nothing better ... the blessed gift we get after raising our kids.

Where were you in Scotland ... the first thing I thought was Ireland or Scotland when I saw this fence. Aren't the fencings over there just beautiful!

Have a beautiful day ~

I always hope to find stone fence/walls when we travel. Your photo is an excellent example of line and simplicity.

Jen- running a bit behind... you could say I have been a bit fence in. Ha. Your stone fence is gorgeous, I loved how your framing, filling that whole right side with the rock fence. The word layer falls perfectly. Really nice.
