A Treat For Me!!!

After the Christmas rush, January holds no appeal to me. The days are overcast and dull...this is the month where I head to the flower department of the grocery store and treat myself to some flowers.
They brighten the kitchen table and I have beautiful flowers to photograph. These pink sweet heart roses were my last purchase.  Bonnie's texture 'Brown Rice Paper' adds a lovely texture...thank you Bonnie.

Joining Photo Art Friday at Pixel Dust Photo Art.

Have a blessed day.

What lovely roses! I think the colour is so beautiful. I tend to do the same thing. To me a treat is more a bunch of flowers than a box of chocs.....mind you the two together re always good!!! Enjoy! Joan

Lovely shot, lovely roses, I have been buying them too, I'm ready for a little green, but do love the snow (if we ever get any :-)
Hugs,

Blessings to you as well. What a nice photo. I have orchids on my kitchen table, they have finally dropped all their flowers. So now I am waiting for the new blooms to open. Maybe I will do like you and get some flowers at the store during the wait.

Roses are the best aren't they? The scent just holds me hostage. There really isn't a flower I dont love, but the Rose is just the most endearing.
Take the dying blooms apart later so you can enjoy the rose petals in a flat bowl or plate. The scent will still carry a bit longer that way.
