Mosaic Monday - In The Studio

The weather has turned very cold. So I have been playing in my 'Studio'.
The nice thing about having a room to myself; I can leave
whatever I am working on, no one will bother it
and when the door is closed the mess cannot been seen.
Right now it is a photo studio.

The subject.

These are the seed heads from a Clematis tangutica.
It has very small yellow flowers in August followed by these lovely
fluffy seed heads. This class of clematis can have both seed heads
and flowers together, adding to its' appeal.

Mosaic Monday is hosted by Mary
at Little Red House.

I hope you enjoyed your visit
and have a wonderful day.

What you're doing in the studio looks interesting and the results are quite stunning! It is nice to have a place we can shut the door on the clutter of our work.

It is nice to have a space to spread yourself out and just play. I can see you are doing that. Valerie

I've often looked at my clematis seed pods and thought how photogenic they are. You've taken the concept to a whole new level in your studio. Beautiful photos. How fun to play with grown-up toys!

They are gorgeous images of the Clematis seed head. They are definitely things of beauty, and your shots show that perfectly.

The beauty lives on long after the flower is gone. Very pretty.

Very pretty seed heads. Love the first moasic too, and I was doing much of the same yesterday ... printing out photos, trimming and adjusting them to fit into a long photo frame with the word Grandkids on it. It sure is hard to get photos to fit those letters.

I did enjoy my visit and you have given me some ideas. May I ask, did you apply a texture to your photo that has the butterflies in it?

It doesn't look messy to me. :)

Clematis tangutica is such a pretty liitle workhorse. I have is scrambling all over one area as a ground cover and it's never bothered by anything. Enjoyed your photos of the seed heads.

Your studio sounds much like mine. Mine is actually half of a room, but it is away from everything else, and it works.

This mosaic is beautiful. It was just this past season that I noticed how beautiful the seed heads from a Clematis were. If it weren't for my camera, they would have gone unnoticed.
