Camera Critters - Enthusiasm

I spent most of the yesterday morning watching the birds in the backyard.  Do you think this Starling is wondering if he has an enthusiastic mate?

It could almost be called a faceplant drink!

Nice shots of the starlings. I've been trying to capture our starlings at the bird bath, but they are too quick for me. Happy Critter Day!

Dear AGOT, What a delightful posting and such a cheery start to Easter. I do so love to see the birds in the garden - all too few, sadly, in London - and do think that it is important to try to encourage them in whatever way one can. These seem to be having a very good time!

Great shot of the starlings! They are my least favorite bird here because they come in droves and are so loud and messy.

That is so cute! I bet it was fun watching them. I have asked my hubby for a bird bath for Mother's Day!

Good photo. I really dislike the way starling flock to my suet feeder, and clean it it in no time flat, but I guess they have to eat too.

Hello there fellow Ontario gardener ! .. those are great pictures : ) we love seeing the Goldfinches in our garden .. but since the raccoon adventures these past weeks .. we can't put out any loose seed for Morning Doves or other birds that are attracted to such seed .. but yes ! they do make us smile don't they ?

I know Starlings are one of the least favoured bird, but this pair have been very polite while attending the feeders and birdbaths. Now the Grackles in the fall, that is a different story. Imagine recess at a public school, and you have the picture of my backyard.

Great shot - my birds are too skittish for me even to come to the window!

An excellent capture of the starlings. Birds and other wildlife make our life much more interesting by giving us a look at their lives.
