Pink Saturday

While out on the deck cooking dinner yesterday I noticed the Sweet Peas were flowering, they are a very solf mauve-pink, and thought I would put some in a vase. When I returned with the scissors, the female hummingbird was drinking nectar, I left her some flowers for later and wondered off into the garden to find companions for the sweet peas.

I found some candy tuft, selene, cosmos and coneflower in different shades of pink.
I am joining Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.

Happy Pink Saturday, Jen! Your flowers are beautiful and make a lovely bouquet. How nice to see a hummer visiting your garden; they're so cute to watch! Hope you have a lovely day.

What beautiful flowers, they look so fresh. Our garden is so dry here in Massachusetts. We haven't had a drop of rain and so much heat that my tree in the backyard thinks it' Fall. I had a glorious garden when I lived in Oakville and then Toronto. Everything grows better and more abundant in Ontario.

So nice to meet you.

What a pretty pink posy - how's that for alliteration!?
I've got the water on the big bed - the heat has arrived so quickly and everything needs a drink. I hope to be able to pick a similar bouquet soon.

That is one of the prettiest pink bouquets I've ever seen - thank you for sharing - I must go pick some daisies now, they are just starting to bloom.

Your flowers are beautiful- My grandmother always grew Cosmos - and my folks grew sweet peas for years. When they put up the garage - the sweetpeas didn't grow as well so they have stopped now. They are such a fragrant flower.
Have a great PInk Saturday and Happy quilting,
Regards,
Anna

One of the prettiest bouquets ever! I think most of these flowers prefer cooler weather than we've been having. Lovely!
