Mosaic Monday - Annuals

It is hard to believe another week has passed and it is Monday again.
Time certainly races along when I am not watching.
 I have been in the garden the last few days deadheading, weeding, picking veggies and staking unruly plants. By mid afternoon I call it quites as I am hot and wet...
'Gardening requires lots of water - most of it in the form of perspiration',
 Lou Erikson quotes and this week I agree.

This is a selection of the annuals I have in the garden;
petunias, poppies, cosmos, dahlias, million bells, brown eyed susan and candytuft.

Every Monday, Mary from Little Red House hosts Mosaic Monday,
 make a mosaic of your chosing, post it to your site and link to hers.
 It is so fun and the selections are fantastic.
Pop on over to see what everyone has produced this week.

Hope everyone has an amazing week.

Oh what a pretty garden to have all those flowers!!! I have a lot of daisies right now and when Ben smelled them (he is 5) he said to me - Grammy, stay away from those white flowers! When I asked him why - he said - they smell like garbage. I love it when kids tell it like it is.

Incredible colors – so happy and summery! And I love that quote – I've been doing a lot of deadheading and staking myself. Although I can't blame the plants. I think I was too timid in pruning some of them last fall. Have a lovely new week! – g

Dear Jennifer, Your collage of annual flowers is most attractive and very appealing. I seldom grow much in the way of annuals and this posting makes me realise what I am missing. Grown well, as you clearly do, they do repay one's efforts.

I hope that you have a very enjoyable week too.

Simply lovely! I obviously need to get more summer blooming flowers. Nothing but tomatoes blooming here at the moment.

Thanks, too, for telling us about Mount Stewart in Ireland. I was totally unaware of it & will seek out more info. I learn SO much from bloggers! :-)
