Embrace Change

Today marks the first day of my favorite season Autumn. I know many people do not like this season because of what follows...winter. But, we all need to embrace change.

"You don't have to fear change. What you need to fear, a friend once told me,
is things remaining the same. When that happens, life has stopped.

Life is an evolution. Your life is constantly, quietly evolving each moment into something
new, something different, something that adds gracefully, beautifully and perfectly
to what was.  You can trust that process with all its insights, clarity, confusion and
emotions.  You can trust that process with its peace, joy, laughter and its side trips.

Learn to honor and love the process of continual evolution and transformation.
It's how things grow. It's how you grow. It's how life is.

Learn to embrace change"

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

I enjoy all the different seasons even winter -it just hangs on too long sometimes to suit me.I agree fall is a lovely time of the year too.

Take care,

Sometimes I like change and sometimes I kind of fight against it until I finally give in and try to embrace it - but I really don't relish autumn all that much - maybe because of the colors and the passing of summer - which I adore beyond belief.

I will give it a try this year - embrace autumn - never hurts to give it a try.

This quote is beautiful and your picture could be an award winning photo. Have you seen the Canadian Geographic Photo contest? There are several categories and this might fit in one.

I love fall even though it is round on the yucky allergies. The colors you captured in the photograph are beautiful. We do not have that much color here in western Virginia, but it will be here VERY soon. With age I am finding that summer and winter are getting hotter and colder while spring and fall are absolutely perfect.

What a wonderful quote to contemplate; I have to admit I have a problem with change, even the there's anything I can do about it! It's high time to change my outlook. Thank you for the quote.

Every season has its beauty, but autumn is the one I love the most.
The photo is enchanting.

For gardeners in my corner of Oz, Autumn-Winter is the best time of year. We look forward to the cool break after a long hard Summer! It's an inspiring quote ... thanks for sharing!

I love all the beautiful colors of autumn- I just wish it would last a little longer- the leaves soon turn brown and look so bare. Unfortunately we do not have the beautiful maples of the east so we don't get the glorious reds you do. Still, the colors are beautiful here.
The quote is really lovely and so is your photograph..

It's a way also to rest, because we all work in our garden, to much.
And our garden need too, a good rest.

Great quote, thanks. Some people have a hard time with change and this season especially as the gardens wind down and prepare to nap through the Winter.

Dear Jennifer, What you say here is so very true and, over the years, I have tried to embrace change more readily since resisting is so time and energy consuming. I do so love the change from summer to autumn in the garden since it is so much more restful and the golden tints everywhere are particularly pleasing in my eyes.

What a gorgeous Autumn picture. It is hard to tell where the leaves leave off and the water begins. I love the reflection. Have a wonderful weekend!

Breathtaking and so true about embracing change. Life would be so boring if everything remained the same. If we would just reflect upon nature . . . her lessons would cure us. Lovely lovely post. ;>)
