A Rest is Needed!!!

I thought I would show you the deck make over.

This is what the deck looked like before. Terrible picture, sorry.

This is during take down. Hubby and oldest son.

Finished deck, we still need to add lattice to the end, but the peony is waiting transplanting.
I am hoping to do that in the early fall.

We also renovated the powder room.

A new floor, vanity and mirror.

Granite sink and oval mirror.

New artwork. I decided to frame four of my photos.

It has been so busy here, with the reno of the deck and powder room, new front door installed,
wedding and all the preparations, that hubby and I decided to take a holiday.
So, I will be away for awhile visiting the highlands of Scotland.
When I return I hope to have lots to share.

Thank you for stopping in and enjoy the weekend!!!

Wow -- wonderful transformations! The powder room is really lovely; gorgeous, actually.

The deck turned out great. How lucky you are to have men who can do this work for you! My hubby has many wonderful qualities, but handyman is not one of them.

Have a terrific time in the Highlands. Don't go chasing the cows, or "coos!"

All best wishes,

Hi Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful job. I love, LOVE your new deck. It is absolutely breath taking. So pretty and so inviting. You will be spending a lot of time out there now, something tells me that anyway.

Love your powder room as well. That mirror is gorgeous, I am afraid nobody will want to come out of there, you will never get to use it yourself. So pretty.

I can't wait to see photos of your trip. Have a glorious vacation. Take lots of pictures. I have always wanted to see Scotland.

This is the Miracle Weekend makeover. I am one of the hosting sites. For every comment left, Guideposts magazine will pay a dollar, to the next cancer makeover patient. Please stop by and read the story about 9 year old Charlie, and bless me with a comment. Out goal between the 4 or 5 blogs is 5,000. I know we can do it. I would appreciate it, if you pass the word around to as many friends as possible.
