A New Addition

The wait is over, on July 4th at 10:40 in the evening my first child was born.
He is so small, weighing only 6 pound 10 ounces.

I had 9 months to get used to the idea of being a grandparent
and I am still working on the concept, wow 'ME' a grandparent.
It is not a hard job and only requires love.
And I have lots of that.

Linking to Mosaic Monday
Have a wonderful week and
take care!!!

Congratulations, Jen! He is beautiful; a precious little bundle of joy!
I couldn't wait to be a grandmother and now I've got five! We actually just spent the afternoon with two of them. Had a great time! Enjoy this time because like our own, they grow up way too fast.

Blessings,
Sandi

Nothing compares to being a grandparent until you live it. I never thought I would be saying that. I am as excited for as I was for myself 9 years ago, and then again 7 years ago with my two grandsons, My only grandchildren I will have, Congrats on your little one. I hope you keep us posted on his growing years.

Oh he's so handsome...what an adorable little boy!

Who told you being a grandmother isn't hard? Let's just say that some days are better than others and that the good days more than make up for the other kind.

Many happy blessings to you!

There's nothing quite like becoming a grandparent. Congratulations! I took no time at all coming to grips with it when it happened to me, despite being a very young Grandma. It's such a brilliant thing!
