Afternoon Delight

It is a wet dull day, the snow has melted and the rain is falling.
The perfect day to curl up with a book or magazine and a cup of tea.

I always attend craft shows around Christmastime, to buy something special for that special someone.
Well, this year that special someone was me. I am a pottery gal and have many pieces;
bowls, mugs and pitchers. This year I treated myself to two mugs.

The perfect size for a tea latte.

I am escaping into the book 'The First Prophet' by Kay Hooper and drinking a Roobias Vanilla
tea latte on this rainy afternoon. How do spend rainy afternoons?

Sandi from Rose Chintz Cottage hosts Home.

Please come again and
enjoy your day!!

Those are very nice mugs.
I spend rainy days either crocheting, reading or visiting around the internet.

Your mug looks great here. I love the earthen colors. Valerie

Good for you for treating yourself this time with that nice mug.

We have a lot of rain in the Pacific Northwest but making a big pot of stew or soup with some crusty french bread, sure makes it better sometimes! xo

I like that mug a lot. I should have read a book this afternoon too!

I'm happy to see that someone else likes mugs to drink their tea!! Although I love a beautiful teacup, I'm still partial to a mug.

Tea does seem so much nicer when it's in a lovely mug. I am constantly reading and it's nice to have a cup of tea in the afternoon. I'm reading my first "E" book and the experience is not quite the same!

I would so love the sounds of a rainy day - we rarely ever have one! Sweet post and happy reading!

I would enjoy a tall cuppa Chai and if I have time, reading.

I LOVE this quote, Jen, and what beautiful photos!

I always go to one or two craft shows at Christmas time too. Each year I buy one additional Christmas decoration for the house.

Wishing you a wonderful day!

When I was little my mom had dishes like these. It made everything look more delicious on the plates. That mug is beautiful, and I am sure it makes your tea taste yummier.

Love the texture and words on your photo.

Hi Jen,
I like your special mug. I often drink tea and coffee from a mug. I don't always use a teacup.

I want you to know that your Giveaway should arrive any time. I have been tracking it and it is in Newmarket right now.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and thank you for sharing with us at my HOME.
