Vision Boards

At the beginning of a new year, resolutions and visions that we want to accomplish are made. And they can be so hard to keep, the secret is to hold them loosely. Be open to throwing them away if they are not working or to look at why they are not working. In our perceived wisdom of what is best, we forget that there could be something 'or better' from our higher levels for the future and now we are not open to receive because of our fixation on those resolutions and visions made on New Years.

One of my mentors, Ron Clifford had us make a Vision Board. Here we were put down visions we had for our businesses, our life, our photography, any goals...anything we wanted. I made one for only this year, as I want to be open to receive the 'or better'. They are reminders for me...when life gets' busy, difficult or traumatic.

This year why not dance with what is presenting from a state of neutrality and remember whatever is happening, is happening for us and not to us. By doing this, we will not be so resistant to what is happening. It can be scary at first and even painful, but if we continue to say yes to the moments, we will discover the joy of being in a positive conversation with a force so much bigger than ourselves.

I love what you did here, Jen, and this is truly some very, very good advice.
Thank you, my friend, and have a wonderful weekend!

This is a very interesting concept. It's good advice to be open to the moments. Thank you for sharing.
